Student Matching Service collects information through our Web site at several points. We collect the following information about primary visitors: Name, address, phone, email, and other pertinent information for our clients and internal agents to effectively contact and communicate with prospective students.
Student Matching Service does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.
We collect the following general data that is not personally identifiable information: referrer source, click activity, and hits. We collect demographic data in order to effectively target prospective students.
We collect this information through online lead forms. The information is collected voluntarily to receive information from partner schools, thus contact information is mandatory.
We do employ cookies. A cookie is a small text file that our Web server places on a user’s computer hard drive to be a unique identifier. Cookies enable Student Matching Service to track usage patterns and deliver customized content to users. Our cookies do not have an expiration date. Our cookies do collect personally identifiable information. The same information submitted by you to request contact from a partner school.
Part II. Information Usage and Sharing
The information collected by Student Matching Service will be used by partner schools and internal agents to contact and provide information regarding enrollment. Users who provide information will receive correspondence from the chosen school and/or internal agents.
We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
We may also disclose your personal information as required by law such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process.
By submitting your information at the Website you agree to receive e-mail and/or telephone marketing from Student Matching Service and our third-party advertisers. We may share our user information and/or join together with other businesses to bring selected opportunities to our users. We are able to offer third party services to you, in part, based on your willingness to be reached by our third-party advertisers.
Registered users will receive additional announcements from us about products, services, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.
We offer links to other Web sites. Please note: When you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours. If you submit personal information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy statements.
Student Matching Service is able to offer its free services, in part, based on the willingness of our users to be reached by colleges or our marketing partners. Some send brochures in the mail, others reply via email or telephone. By requesting information on Student Matching Service website, Student Matching Service may make the information you supply available to colleges, lead companies, and internal agents so you’ll receive free information on college admissions, offers and promotions designed for students, notwithstanding your possible listing in the National Do-Not-Call Registry.
Part III. Access to Information
Please note that users cannot update previously submitted information. If your information (such as your email address) should change, we ask that you re-submit a registration form or request.
Users may delete their information from our database by mailing correspondence to Student Matching Service, 5400 S. Lakeshore Dr. Bldg F. Tempe, AZ 85283.
We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
